is there a programme which i can record my computer screen into a video?
i need a programme which i can record my activity on my computer screen. the programme must be able to allow me to fit my record at an area of my screen only.
i have tried camstudio and my screener but these programmes’ codec are pretty poor and the video has low fps which look very laggy in the video.
Fraps is good but it only allow me to record the entire screen. Fraps recorded videos are smooth and are not as jagged as the other programes. however, it doesn’t allow me to record just one area of the screen.
You can capture full screen only.
Snag it and Camtasia gives you Realtime capturing but may affect some graphic capabilities (if you are using Rendering software) but still the output is great.

if you only want to record a bit of the screen,and the software only records the full screen,is it not possible to zoom in on the bit you want?

There is a program that does that you can record part or all of anything you can get on your screen, it also is able to record the audio if you choose.
However it’s not a free program, there is a 30 day trial if you want to try it.
I love the program it enables you to capture things that are locked on the net also, Basically anything you can get onto your screen it can copy. You can even make an avi file of someones webcam with audio and video.
