How can I take/capture a video of my Computer screen?

I mean not using a camera, which is very irritating to watch. I watched those vids on youtube about Google tricks, hacking, &tc. &tc. and they captured their vids recorded by their pc automatically. Sorry Im just thirteen not really good in Technology, Does it have to be downloaded? If yes, can you guys give me the link? Thanks. =D

A programme called "Fraps" will do this. It will capture any video or action your screen can display. It’s great for recording gameplay.

There are lot’s of softwares that capture computer screen.
Like Hypercam, cam recorder, frapes, hot recorder, etc

Taking Images
If you have windows 7 try Snipping Tool.
If you have mac use Grab.
Taking videos
You can use CamStudio which is a very good program for windows.
You can use Copernicus for mac.
