They used a web cam which is built into their computer or and external web cam. You need to have some sort of camera to record. No, your computer screen does not have the technology to record you sitting in front of it. It is either a built-in web cam or external web cam. A built-in webcam is common among laptops. There is a little hole usually above the computer screen. You can find them where you get computer accessories. Web cams are not free.

HyperCam 2.20.01 -

That should do it. Download.com is a reputable site that scans the files they list for viruses, malware, spyware, ETC.

I’ve used Download.com several times over the years without any problems.

Here’s their description from the software maker -

"HyperCam captures the action and sound from any part of Windows desktop and saves it to standard AVI movie files. Captures cursor movements, menus selections, windows popping up, and everything else you see on the screen. Correctly handles color palette changes if recording in 256 color mode. Allow you to pan the recorded area around the screen. Optionally annotates recorded movies with text."
