Why doesnt my camtasia 6 let me record what i hear?

I got camtasia and when i try to record the screen it doesnt let me record what i hear. I went to options and i kknow i have to enable, RECORD WHAT I HEAR, but its grayed out, please help me

have you tried > tools > options > stereo mix
