does anime or movie files have something to prevent from being record by camtasia ?

Why does my recorded video my camtasia 4 shows
only black screen and sound when I record anime or
movie files.
And when I record 3D games, it shows the gameplay but
it’s extremely slow.

Do you know any website for learning camtasia 4 ?

If you’re using a media player like wmp, it’s because of hardware acceleration. Meaning its using hardware to play the main portion of your movie..camtasia records whats happening in the memory..uh.if that makes sense~ anyways follow the link below and It’ll tell you how to disable it. (the same thing happens when trying to take a screen capture). To make the game record better, you’d have to make it record at a higher framerate..It’ll make the files alot bigger, but you’ll get better quality

My guess would be that your computer is old and cant handle video software. However, I’ve never heard of Camtasia.

Are you trying to get clips from anime? You would be much better off simply coverting the clip to straight AVI (no codec) then cutting out what you want to use in Windows Movie Maker (if you have it).
