Crackly Mic Recording in Camstudio and Camtasia?
When i record my voice over mic on camstudio or camtasia it sounds distorted and crackly. When i use the windows sound recorder it sounds fine.
Anybody have any ideas?
I also tried on Camstudio and Hypercam2, but I’m not too keen on them.
I think for a good screen recorder could be Total Screen Recorder I recommend.
compatible with Windows XP and Vista.

You may have the device and or settings with the program goofed up. Go into the settings/advanced properties and see if everything as far as sound is configured correctly.
